Jane Jamieson

Jane JamiesonFor most of my adult life I have been involved with church ministry. Shortly after finishing Business College, I went to work at First Baptist Church of Pendleton as the Administrative Assistant to the pastor. In 2001, I retired after 30 years of service there. Soon, realizing that full-time retirement was not for me, I began to pray about how the Lord could use me in the days ahead.

We had been attending Concord Baptist for two years, and one Sunday evening after church, the minister approached me and asked if I would be interested in working in the office from time to time. It was the perfect situation, although, very soon it became
more than part-time. For three years I have served as Administrative Assistant to our pastor, Dr. Don Cox. I am now serving
as Ministry Assistant to Reverend Randy Blank, Associate Pastor for Education and Evangelism.

My husband Bill and I are blessed with one daughter, Sharon Leigh, her husband Brent, and our precious grandson, Matthew
Bobo. Shari, Brent and Matt live in Sarasota, Florida and attend Sarasota Baptist Church.

I also have a sister, Edna Sholar who is a member of Concord Baptist.
