Jeannette James
I came to work at Concord Baptist Church in January 2003, after retiring from General Electric in Atlanta. I was transferred to Greenville to work on a customer site after many years in Atlanta. I was so glad to get back to my home town of Anderson.
In 2003, I took an early retirement when I learned I would have to move back to Atlanta.
I asked God to allow me to work in a church environment because I wanted to be part of ministry rather than the corporate world. A series of events followed that led me to CBC. I have never doubted that God directed my steps. In recent years, my ministry in my church has been in greeting, working with newcomers and bereavement areas. I also stay involved in choir ministry. I am blessed with three adult children , two daughter-in-laws and four precious grandchildren. I am also blessed with a ninety year old Mother and I sure can’t leave out my adorable Spitz mix puppy, Marley nor my Persian cat, Sunshine.
God is good!
