Rev. Randy Blank
A native of Northern Virginia, my family (wife Judy and daughter Joy) moved to Anderson, SC. in May 1980 to pursue the education I needed for full-time gospel ministry. Following the Lord’s calling and leadership I came to the staff of Concord in 1982. I have been on staff as Minister of Outreach, Minister of Children & Youth, and as Associate Pastor with Rev. Bob Marcaurelle. In June of 1999 I left Concord to pastor Nine Forks Baptist Church in Dacusville, SC (Northwest Pickens County) and to pastor Bethel Baptist Church in the Berea area of Greenville, SC. Both pastorates were fruitful and wonderful and the fellowship and family of these two churches are still dear to my heart.
After being away from Concord for a little over seven years the Lord once again opened the doors of Concord Baptist Church giving me a ministry in and through Him to this great church. Some folks liken me to a stray cat…each time I have left Concord I have come back! I don’t know about being a stray cat, but I do know and believe that it is by the direction of the Holy Spirit that I am back at Concord. Today, serving as the Associate Pastor of Education and Evangelism with Senior Pastor Dr. Don Cox, and being a part of the excellent staff of Concord Baptist Church I am blessed indeed and I praise the Lord for His love and direction in my life.
The Lord has been so good to Judy and me with a beautiful daughter and son-in-law (Joy and Mark Harrison) and the most precious one-year old grandson anyone could have…little Hampton! We also count it great blessings to be part of the wonderful family and fellowship of Concord Baptist Church. Again I say for all to know…God is so good, Praise the name of the Lord!
