Missions Ministry

From Moldova to Mississippi, the last couple of years have been full of missions opportunities for the people of Concord Baptist Church. In 2006, Dr. Cox let a small group of people to Moldova. In 2007, John Shelton, the church’s children’s minister led a group of 29 people to Brazil. Since Hurricane Katrina hit, many teams have been taken to the Gulf Coast region to help those in need. Thanksgiving 2007 saw more than 40 people from Concord give up their comfortable holiday at home to go and minister in the still ravaged area of Mississippi.

2008 gives brand new opportunities. A youth team to Vermont, another team to Brazil, and a small tam to Uganda are all in the works. Come get involved and be a part of the various missions opportunities of Concord. To find out more about any of the missions trips you can call the church office at 225-4621.
