This year, our theme is revival, spiritual awakening, and renewal! I pray that God will keep shaping us to be more like His Son, Jesus Christ. Read these words from God that Isaiah shared:

Isaiah 57:15b: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and
humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble”

God wants us to be with Him forever in heaven. In this Bible verse, He shows us how we can be sure of that. We need to have a humble and contrite spirit. The New Testament teaches us this through Jesus. Jesus lived with humility when He was on earth, and we should follow Him. God also says we need to have a heart that is sorry for our wrong choices—a repentant spirit. Jesus shows us what it means to be perfect, but He also helps us see when we do wrong and need to say sorry/need to repent. As we go through 2026, let’s choose to be humble and to seek forgiveness and holiness. This passage says our hearts will be made new and alive!
