Join us tomorrow morning at 10:30am in the Worship Center as we praise the Lord for how He has worked through this project and will continue to work in the years to come!
Then, in the evening, at 5:00pm, we will have our official ribbon cutting ceremony to launch the new building. From praying and preparing to groundbreaking and construction, we are excited to finally enter our Next Gen building for our children and students!
After the ribbon cutting, we will begin our Fall Festival around 5:30pm. This will be a wonderful evening of celebration in the Next Gen building and fellowship with one another and the community of Anderson. We can’t wait to see you there!
The Fall Festival will feature coffee trucks, funnel cake, hot dogs, burgers, desserts, and fun for every age group! We’ll have karaoke, a hymn sing, trivia, a petting zoo, hay rides, mini golf, and carnival games for the whole family. Everything is free, but bring $5 if you want to purchase a commemorative t-shirt celebrating this day!
General Announcements
Parking
The "L” Parking Lot will be running the same as it has been throughout the duration of the construction project. You can only enter the “L” parking lot via the Concord Road entrance/exit and you can only exit the “L” parking lot via the Concord Road entrance/exit.
All of the parking behind the “Next Gen” building is open and available for you to use. We will no longer be using the shuttle to People’s Bank, but we encourage you to still use the grass parking lot adjacent to our campus, across Reed Road.
Check In
Check-in systems will be utilized on all three floors for all of our children and students. These check-in systems are available in the lobbies on all three floors and will be used to increase security and safety for all of our children and students.
We have also increased the size of our safety team in order to properly manage and secure this new building.
Facility Usage
After tomorrow, October 18th, all regularly scheduled events will be in the Next Gen building. This includes, but is not limited to, Awana and Wednesday Night Small Groups this upcoming week.
Our outdoor playground is also open for use! We are ecstatic to welcome and encourage the community of Anderson to come back to our campus and have fun on our playground!
To our Church Family—
We have long looked forward to this day, not only to finally see the fruits of the building project, but also to set aside a time of thanksgiving to God for providing and equipping us with the resources and leadership needed to invest in the next generation of children and students. The Lord has been faithful to us in every step, and we’re excited to celebrate that great joy tomorrow and in the days ahead!
