Ephesians 2:10: “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

God is calling you and me to do good works. This good work does not save us. They are part of the ministry and service God calls His children to do. We are His workmanship. That means God made each of us for a reason, and He has a plan for our lives. We need to read the Bible, study it, and think about God’s Word. As we do this, God’s living Word changes us and helps us become more like His Son, Jesus. When we let the Lord change and shape us, He can do even more through us. Then we can serve Him better.

FY Serves, along with Missions— will help again with SF4K, the Summer Food for Kids program through AIM. This program gives food to families in the housing area of Washington/Jefferson near the old McCants  Downtown. It happens on Fridays during the summer after school ends. It takes about one hour, but it is outside in the hot sun. If you would like to help this summer, please reach out to me or Jay Connor for more details.
