Hello Forever Young family and friends,

“This people I have formed for Myself; they shall declare my praise.” Isaiah 43:21

As each month passes, I continue to see the things the LORD has done and is doing in our lives, our church, and our community. Each month, I have the privilege of being part of the Next Steps process at church. I have the opportunity to hear people’s testimonies of faith and how God is working in their lives. I get to pray for them, and I have the awesome privilege of hearing their stories. I think of Isaiah 43:21 because it reminds us of who we belong to and what we are called to do. We are God’s because He formed us in our mothers’ wombs, and we should all praise Him for who He is and what He has done.

I wrote this before the Bonclarken Retreat, but I know those who went had a great time and that the LORD was with us. If you were unable to go this year, make plans to be with us next year for this wonderful time of ministry and fellowship. 

Once again, I would like to invite you to serve through our fellowship: Greeter Ministry, Birthday Ministry, Ushers, Men’s Ministry, Safety Team, Women on Mission, and more. These are just a few of the opportunities to be part of the extended ministries of CBC.

Also, make plans to serve at AIM on Saturday, November 7. Details are available through Church Center App sign-ups. This is a Forever Young Involved event, and please remember that it will be a little strenuous because we will be serving AIM that day.

P.S.S. – Point of Grace will be with us for our Christmas Celebration this year on December 1st. It will be at Concord this year. The luncheon will be held in the Gym and limited to 240 people. The evening will be a concert only open to the church family and our community held in the Worship Center. No meal that night!
