Frequently Asked Questions

These are some FAQs:

All background checks are being handled at church. No one needs to reach out about those, but anyone who needs to have one completed will be contacted by the church. Some areas and ages do not need one. We can’t “excuse” someone from that, simply let them know that the church is handling this according to the TTF.

A complimentary meal will be provided at 5:00 pm the night of the event. Each volunteer will need to sign up for this meal. (Link is below)

Everyone should wear all black with comfortable shoes! ( Exceptions are the limo door openers will wear black suits, paparazzi teams will wear team jerseys)

No children are allowed at Night to Shine. Due to waivers and safety reasons only grades 6 and up will be able to serve. The only exception is the red-carpet paparazzi. Families may serve together on the red carpet, as long as parents supervise their children. This is included in the volunteer sign ups as well. (We have to be mindful of space constraints and can’t account for some to just “show up”)

Please be mindful of photography at this event. All attendants have signed a release form, but do not take selfies or other photos with your guest and post to social media without permission. Be mindful that this is their night, and not ours!

The City of Anderson has been hired to work traffic on Concord/Reed. We will also have EMS on site for medical emergencies. It was a requirement through Tim Tebow Foundation that we do this instead of using our own safety and medical.

The men’s ministry will be handling parking and the parking lot under the leadership of Andrew and Lori Wyse. All Volunteers should park in the church office parking lot, behind the playground, or in the lot across the street. No volunteers can park in the main lot. This is reserved for our guests.
