Rev. Michael Kinard   -

Hey Forever Young Family and Friends,

As we keep learning about prayer each month, my prayer is that we all feel a stronger need to pray, invite others to pray, and become better prayer warriors for the Lord.

This month, we are looking at Isaiah 59:16 and 21:

“16He saw that there was no man, And wondered that there was no intercessor; Therefore His own arm brought salvation for Him; And His own righteousness, it sustained Him.” 21”As for Me,” says the LORD, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,’ says the LORD, ‘from this time and forevermore.”

In Isaiah, the Lord is upset that no one was praying for the people. Even though God doesn’t need us to pray, He wants to hear from His children. Just like in last month’s Bible passage, we know God hears the prayers of His people and He will answer them.

Verse 21 is a beautiful promise from God. He says He will give His Spirit to His people and put His words in their mouths!

I want to encourage you to sign up for the Growing Deeper in Your Prayer Journey Conference with Dr. James Banks. I truly believe this event can change your life. Don’t miss out! Please know that I care deeply about you and your walk with the Lord.

Our ministry opportunities, like Forever Young Adventures, Forever Young Grows, and Forever Young Serves, will continue to help us build friendships and live as the church. You will hear more through mail: Forever Young Connection—this newsletter, email: mkinard@concordbaptist.com , OneCall, our Facebook group: @foreveryoungcbc/ , and the ChurchCenter app.

In Christ’s love and with our love,
