Hey Forever Young Family and Friends,

As Jeremiah 29:11 states: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” God has a plan for our lives, even during seasons of transition. We’ve had a great and busy month, and the LORD has truly been with us. These are exciting days at Concord, and even greater days lie ahead!

God knows His plans for each of us and for our church, especially as we prepare for the new Children and Student Building! As God and the builders work out the details, I will do my best to keep you informed. The back parking lot beside the gym will soon be blocked off. While this will cause some inconvenience for a while, we’re doing everything we can to minimize the impact.

Some details, like the exact placement of the construction fence, won’t be known until the crew arrives on-site and begins installation. We are currently working on plans to help everyone move to and from the building as smoothly as possible, including on Sundays, Wednesdays, and during Forever Young Luncheons.

With growth comes challenges, but always remember: this is about future generations. Our temporary discomfort will soon pass, and a new building will stand ready to welcome new families into our church. What a reason to praise the LORD!

Our ministry opportunities: Forever Young Adventures, Forever Young Grows, and Forever Young Serves—will continue to help us build friendships and live as the church. Stay connected through the Forever Young Connection newsletter, email (mkinard@concordbaptist.com), OneCall, our Facebook group, and the Church Center App.

In Christ’s love and with our love,

Rev. Michael and Lori Kinard (and Michaela)
